We support good causes…

Josh Taylor feels very humbled in all the support he has received over the last 15+ years, and looks for opportunities to give back to the community.

Partnering with Unique Tutoring, bringing a Literacy Program to children is one of these opportunities, and another is working closely with Animatch Dog Adoption.

Josh devotes several hours a week to visit the local shelter, and works with the dogs looking for their forever homes.  Some of the dogs available for adoption have been strays since birth, and need some help with socialization, while others may have some separation anxiety, due to sudden changes in their lives.  There still is the misconception that all dogs in shelters are “bad dogs”.  Dogs end up in shelters for many reasons, such as illness or death in the family, hard financial times, new baby, etc.  Some do end up in shelters due to behavioural issues, however, the behavioural issues may be as simple as the dog jumping on people when they visit, or the dog barks too much, pulls on leash, etc.  These are common issues, which for some humans seem overwhelming, and they cannot deal with them due to lack of time or resources, etc. so they opt to rehome the dog.

This is where Josh comes in and works with the dogs to help them become better canine citizens.  If you are looking to add a member to your family, please consider giving a dog a second chance.
