Because sometimes our dogs also need to see a therapist!
Is your dog suffering from separation anxiety, resource guarding, aggression or other behaviors?
Do you have a challenging case?
We’ve Got You Covered
We will work with you to help manage, modify, and prevent problem behavior in your dog.
We are specially trained experts in the principles of animal behavior and animal learning, with a set of science-backed tools, such as behavior modification.
We will help identify the cause of your dog’s problem behavior, and then create a customized treatment plan, teach you how to carry it out successfully, and follow-up to help with any headaches you may be experiencing along the way.
“I just wanted to say how wonderful Josh Taylor is. I contacted Josh due to a recommendation because I had a three months old puppy and did not know what to do. He came to chat with me for an hour and listened so patiently to my woes. Then we set up times to give me some instructions on how to work with Copper. He has helped me a great deal in training Copper, who is now three years old.”

Not sure I need group or private sessions?
We offer different services designed to suit your needs. If you dog displays a specific behavior you’d like to work on, such as separation anxiety, aggression, leash reactivity, etc., then the private package would be better suited to meet your needs. We will work with you to build a training plan that will assist in achieving your training goals.
If you are looking for obedience and have no specific behavioral issue, then our group sessions are for you.
What training methods do you use?
Science-based, positive reinforcement, force free. We set your dog up for success using the Humane Hierarchy.
Is my dog too old for training?
Can you train aggressive dogs?
Yes, of course! Aggression dog training is one of the primary issues pet parents face and that we help correct daily. Despite what you may think, any dog breed can have aggressive tendencies — either toward people or other dogs. But what you might not know is that aggressive behavior is usually fear-based. Aggression dog training is a slow process that teaches your dog to be less and less reactive over time.
How do I get my dog to stop pulling on the leash?
Leash training is important for the safety of both you and your dog and it creates a positive experience that encourages the dog and human to maintain healthy habits. Beginning when they are young is best so that you can prevent them from developing bad habits and correct missteps quickly. But even older dogs can benefit from leash training if you put in the time. No matter the specific leash behavior you are looking to curb, our team offers effective leash training by understanding how to communicate with your dog.

Which forms of payment do you accept?

“Both Rolo and Smudge had training at Canine Education. Rolo the brown poodle mix 7years old had private lessons. Smudge black lab mix 2 years old did Super dogs and leash reactivity. What great lessons for the dogs as well as the owners. Helped me to understand how to communicate to my pack. Thanks again Josh and Jenna”
